Your words can be louder than the noise of everyday life.

Voice of the Street 2 is an interdisciplinary poetry and audiovisual competition combining poetry, visual arts and sound. The project is aimed at authors who want to see how their text functions beyond the page and takes on a new audiovisual dimension.

What is the competition about?

Participants submit an original, unpublished poem.
Selected texts will be used to create original video productions and soundtracks prepared by professional artists. The resulting works will be presented to the public during the competition finals in March.

Key information

• Application deadline: 15 February

• One person may submit only one application.

• Submitted texts must be unpublished.

• The evaluation is conducted anonymously – texts are anonymised before being submitted to the jury for evaluation.

• The video and soundtrack are created by professional artists.

• The competition is interdisciplinary in nature.

Nagrody

W konkursie zostanie wyłonionych trzech laureatów.
Każdy z nich otrzyma nagrodę pieniężną w wysokości 500 zł.

Why is it worth it?

Echo Ulicy 2 is a project that focuses on dialogue between different fields of art and gives poetry the opportunity to emerge in a new, contemporary form. It is an opportunity to confront one's own text with the interpretation of image and sound and to present it publicly during the competition finals.
